About the Event

We aim to create a collaborative learning experience that can help participants develop critical thinking skills and gain a more comprehensive understanding of the field. The entries are invited under two broad themes : 

1. Behavioral Finance and 

2. Big Data and Economics.

Participants can also use the leads provided below, but they are not binding in nature.

1. Behavioral Finance

Heuristics and Biases, Loss Aversion, Mental Accounting, Anchoring and Adjustment, Representativeness Heuristic, Investor Sentiment, Herd Behavior, Endowment Effect, Status Quo Bias, Cognitive Dissonance, Self-Control Theory, Behavioral Asset Pricing Models, Behavioral Corporate Finance.

2. Big Data and Economics

Predictive Analytics, Machine Learning, Algorithmic Trading, Digital Economics, Data Mining, Data Visualization, Natural Language Processing, Text Mining, Social Network Analysis, Data-driven Decision Making, Artificial Intelligence

To be eligible for the competition, students are required to submit their abstracts (not more than 700 words) using their official institution email IDs  latest by 1st February 2023. The abstracts should state the objective of the study, the methodology used for research and the results obtained or expected from the study.

The shortlisted candidates shall be notified via email between 12th-15th February 2023, and they will have to submit their final papers via email by 15th March 2023 EOD. The detailed submission guidelines for paper submission can be found in the attached link. The top three entries in the competition shall be awarded cash prizes.

Interested students shall have to pay a participation fee of Rs. 50 per team to register themselves for the competition. The receipt for this payment can be uploaded to the Google form link provided. The payment can be made through Google pay or UPI on the following accounts:
