We are delighted to have with us Professor Chinmay Tumbe of IIM Ahmedabad for the third talk in The Indian Economy Webinar Series! This talk looks at the history of urbanization, migration and pandemics in India and their unique interactions to draw insights for the challenges faced during the current pandemic.

Professor Chinmay Tumbe is currently Asst. Professor, Economics Area, at IIM Ahmedabad. Prior to this, he was the 'Alfred D. Chandler Jr. International Visiting Scholar in Business History' at Harvard Business School. His research interests include migration in India, urban economics, and economic history.
